About Protect PDF
Protect PDF locks your file with a password using AES encryption. After you protect it, nobody can open the PDF without the password you set. The lock is added inside your browser, so your file is never uploaded. Choose a password that you will remember, and share it only with the right people.
Use it before you email a bank statement, salary slip, tax document, medical report or copy of your CNIC, Iqama or passport. HR teams and accountants can lock payslips and invoices. Send the password in a separate message, not in the same email as the file.
